My newest design, the Scripturient Scarf is published in the Crochet Foundry’s August Issue! It was such a pleasure to collaborate with them on this design, and I love seeing my designs published in magazines, it feels so surreal!

Inspiration

Scripturient (noun): Having a consuming passion to write

The Scripturient Scarf is inspired by crisp Fall leaves and wind rustling through the trees. Perfect for sitting in a warm library or dashing between classes in the cold. It will bring warmth and style to any outfit. The simple construction allows the engaging stitch pattern to shine and the repetitive pattern is perfect for some mindless stitching after a long day or while watching TV.

Crochet Foundry August Issue

The Crochet Foundry is an organisation that publishes monthly magazines to encourage making beautiful crochet pieces for women of all sizes. They are focused on customisation and inclusivity. I have had the privilege of having another of my designs, the Autumn Bloom Sweater published in their November 2023 Issue. I love working with the magazine and hope to continue this collaboration in the future!

The August Issue’s theme was Collegiate Crochet. It includes 7 fantastic Fall patterns, some really interesting articles and more crochet themed fun! For the moment, the scarf is exclusively published in the magazine, so if you would like to make it, I encourage you to grab a copy. Plus (crocheter math!) 7 patterns for $13 = less than $2 per pattern! (usually my patterns are $4-8 each)

Thanks so much for supporting my work! If you have any questions please drop a comment below. Happy crocheting!
