How to Crochet Shell Stitch

Pattern

For my swatch, I used We Crochet Heatherly Sport, a skinsoft, beginner friendly blend of 80% acrylic and 20% wool in the colour Cabana.

Ch multiple of 6+4

Row 1: sk first ch,*sl st in next ch, sk next 2 sts, 5dc in next ch, rep from * to last 3 ch, sk next 2 sts, sl st in last ch.

Row 2: ch 3, *3dc in sl st, sk next 2 sts, sl st in next st, sk next 2 sts, 2dc in next sl st, rep from * to end.

Row 3: sk first st, *sl st in next ch, sk next 2 sts, 5dc in next st, rep from* to last3 sts, sk next 2 sts, sl st in last st.

Rep rows 2 and 3 for pattern.
